What an Incredible Day at HORSEPOWER!

Saturday, October 4th, HORSEPOWER in partnership with the Guilford County Family Justice Center hosted an unforgettable event for the Caregivers of the Camp Hope Program.

Though our group was small, the experience was nothing short of transformative! One participant summed it up perfectly: “Absolutely worthwhile.”

Under sunny skies and surrounded by the beauty of our facilities, caregivers learned life-changing skills like reflection, overcoming fear, managing anxiety, staying present, and communicating clearly. All taught by the true stars of the day… our amazing horses as echoed by the participants “The horses I loved the most,” “working with the horses was my favorite part”.

Watching participants who started out nervous and uncertain end the day leading their horses through an obstacle course: calm, confident, and connected. It was truly inspiring.

The day was filled with laughter, learning, courage, and self-discovery. Everyone left with new tools to navigate life with confidence and grace.
