Milo’s Purr-spective: A Change in the Air

Something is changing at HORSEPOWER.
It’s subtle, but I can feel it. It makes my whiskers twitch.
The humans are doing all the things they always do, but there’s something else in the air these days. A little more planning. A little more preparing. And maybe even a little anticipation.
Ah, yes. I recognize it now.
Summer must be coming to an end.
You wouldn’t necessarily know it by looking outside. The days are still warm, the grass is still green, and summer seems perfectly content to stick around for a while.
Fall takes its time getting here.
At first, the changes are small. The light starts to look a little different. Eventually, the mornings get cooler. Then one day, you look around and realize the leaves are beginning to change.
And it’s not just the trees. HORSEPOWER looks different, too.
A few weeks from now, all that anticipation I’m noticing will turn into something else. Fall session will be underway. The arena will be bustling with classes and riders. Familiar faces will be back, and new ones will be discovering HORSEPOWER for the first time. The humans and horses will settle into the rhythm of another busy season.
Maybe that’s what I’ve been sensing.
Summer isn’t quite finished, but everyone is already beginning to look toward what comes next.
